Kranj ha amanecido nublado esta mañana. Casi todos los competidores nos hospedamos en el mismo hotel y nos vamos agolpando en el restaurante para comenzar el día con un gran desayuno. Los que ayer lucharon y se hicieron un hueco en la final hoy tendrán su oportunidad para disfrutar de un nuevo día de competición. No será en caso de Ramon Julian, que ayer no tuvo buena suerte y se quedó fuera. Sin embargo Jorg y Tomash hoy por la noche se habrán estado removiendo entre las sábanas porque saben que se juegan el ganar esta edición 2008 de la Copa del Mundo. Cada uno tiene lo suyo. Para las chicas el pescado ya está vendido, la austriaca Johanna Ernst es la nueva campeona, aunque será bonito ver esta tarde cual de las finalistas gana esta última prueba. |

Por la mañana se ha disputado la ronda clasificatoria. La verdad que ha estado reñido el asunto, se me ha resbalado un pié y he tenido miedo de no pasar a semifinales. He pasado justita, la 25 asi que para la semifinal me tocará escalar la segunda. Maldita mala suerte. De todas formas ahora hay que aprobechar esta segunda oportunidad que he tenido. |

 This morning while I was riding my bike to class I notice the warm smell of the first roast chestnuts coming through the naked trees of the park. The wind that is freezing my ears while I am on my bike announces that the winter is near, showing the teeth. All this means that the competition season is coming to the end.

For Irati it was the first time in a European Championship, She knew that it wasn’t the best year for her but she trained in a right way motivated and happy, She was feeling lucky being able to compete just after a bad injury. The week before the championship the trainings where ok, the feelings were good and the motivation was full. Suddenly the wrist started hurting again and the motivation fall down. When the day for the championship came Irati thought “Ok, this is the way I am feeling today, tired and not very convinced but it is time to compete and to give all I have in this moment.” Finally she was 18. after climbing in the semi-final. Of course that it hasn’t been the best actuation for Irati, but it is time to look ahead and to motivate with the next goals. This will be in Kranj, the last world cup, in the 15 and16 of November. |

Paris ya está preparado para dar la bienvenida a la novena edición del Campeonato de Europa de escalada, que del 15 al 18 de octubre se celebrará en Bercy donde se competirá en las tres modalidades de este deporte: dificultad, bulder y velocidad. Irati Anda tiene previsto competir en la modalidad de dificultad. La ronda clasificatoria será el día 16 para categoría masculina y femenina. Después las chicas continuarán la competición el día 17 con la semifinal y la final y los chicos tendrán su turno el día 18. Escaladores y escaladoras de toda Europa tiene previsto asistir a este gran evento para dar lo mejor de si mismo en una de las pruebas más importantes del año. Más información. |
