La prueba disputada en Puurs ha sido la tercera prueba para Irati en la Copa del Mundo 2008 y como dice el refrán a la tercera va la vencida. Irati se ha clasificado en cuarto lugar a la final empatada con otras dos competidoras.
La final se trataba de una vía larga y bastante desplomada de canto medio bueno. Irati ha escalado con buen ritmo aunque un poco nerviosa en su primera final de la temporada. Finalmente ha hecho una buena actuación y ha quedado en séptimo lugar aunque confiesa que se precipito un poco en el paso donde se ha caído.
Hoy por la mañana se le ha dado comienzo a prueba de la copa del mundo de Puurs. Irati ha salido pronto a competir, era la segunda en el orden de salida, después d Maja Vidmar. La vía propuesta era larga y había que escalar con ritmo, Irati ha conseguido hacerse con el top. Mañana se disputarán la semifinal por la mañana y la final por la tarde.
This time the climbing lead Word Cup is going to be celebrating in Belgium. It will be the fifth event of the year and Puurs is the place where will be the competition. On Friday will be the classificatory round and on Saturday will celebrate the semi-final and the final.
The Cup has only two events left and in women there is a clear favourite to win the cup, she is the young Austrian Johana Ernst. About the men there is nothing clear in this moment. The fight is between Jorg, Tomash, Patxi and Ramon.
On Saturday night finished the forth event of the Word cup in Imst. For two days women and men from all over the world meet in Austria for this competition. On Friday was celebrated the classification round for semifinal. There were two routes for both men and women to climb on flash.
Irati top the two routes proposed by the route setters and she classified for the semifinal which was on Saturday morning, this time on sight. On semifinal Irati climbed really high and she felt down close to the top of the route. Finally she did 12º in the competition really happy and satisfied because she could climb giving all she had inside and she enjoyed the route.
